Mixed-reality rehabilitation for stroke recovery

Built a pass-through mixed-reality system on Meta Quest 3S with Logitech MX Ink for gross- and fine-motor training. Added clinician-readable event-level CSV logging. A 10-user pilot achieved a System Usability Scale score of 79.7/100.

Systemic Diabetic Retinopathy Analysis

Machine learning for healthcare

Developed a portal for studying systemic factors in diabetic retinopathy. Compared TabNet and DeepForests on tabular data across hospitals in India and Hong Kong, achieving over 80% model-testing accuracy.

Dynamic Third-Person Shooter

Game development

Built a 3D open-world game in C# with missions, day–night cycles, and an inventory system. Integrated Blender assets, Unity animations, and Cinemachine camera controls.

Text-Based Fake News Classification

Natural language processing

Compared LSTM, Bi-LSTM, and ensemble classifiers for online misinformation detection, achieving over 90% across the reported evaluation metrics. This work was included in the proceedings of Innovations in Bio-Inspired Computing and Applications (IBICA 2022).

ASIA 2026 Data Challenge · Track 2 Winner

American Spinal Injury Association

Won the longitudinal ISNCSCI imputation track, reconstructing full neurological sensory examinations from expedited assessments and baseline examinations. Built a leakage-safe pipeline with target-wise TabPFNv2.5 bagging, copy-through, symmetry, modality, and anchor post-processing.
